Hours of business
Monday- Friday 7.30am-5.30pm. If you need care outside of these hours, please ask and I might be able to compromise or accommodate.
Daily rate
Our daily rate is £50.00 per full day 7.30 am to 5.30pm. I will provide a evening meal and snacks throughout the day. I ask for you to provide a lunchbox if the child is at the setting over lunchtime. You are required to provide formula milk, nappies, wipes, creams and sunscreen if applicable. Your fees will be calculated on a monthly basis as agreed in your contract. Any fees due over and above your contracted hours will be calculated and invoiced to you.
Deposit
Parents will be asked to pay a deposit, this is one weeks fees in advance, this will be then refunded as payment towards the final weeks payment once my services are no longer needed.
School and nursery pick/drop off
We provide pick up and drop off collections from Westacre Infant School and Uplands Junior School including collection and drop off from Westacre Infant School nursery.
Children are welcome from 8.00am-8.30am for morning school or nursery drop off breakfast is not included
Children are welcome from 3.15pm-5.30pm for after school care. A light snack is provided, tea can be provided at an additional cost of £1.50 per child per day.
Before & after school care- £18.00 per day
Before School only- £6.75
Afterschool only till 5.30pm- £11.25
Late Collection Fee
I will allow two occasions whereby if you are late collecting your child I will not charge, however after these two occasions I will charge £5.00 for every 15 minutes after the collection time.
Retainer Fee
A retainer fee will be charged to secure your child’s place in my childminding service, should your child not start immediately. The retainer fee is half of my hourly rate, this is non-refundable and cannot be longer than one month prior to start date.
Absence/ Illness
- Illness (childminder) : No fees apply
- Illness (parent/ child): Full fees apply
- Holidays/ occasional days off (childminder): No fees apply
- Holidays/ occasional days off (child): Full fees apply
How to pay
I invoice monthly in advance, and expected to be paid by one of the below on or before the last day of the month
Fees are to paid, prior to care by;
- Bank transfer/ standing order, childcare vouchers or cash
- In advance on a monthly basis as per contract agreement
- On the day/date agreed in your contract
- All contracted hours must be paid in full regardless of attendance
- I do not accept cheques
Late payment
I work as a childminder because it is a career I enjoy, however this is my income and like you, I have bills and expenses to pay. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could ensure prompt payment of fees. If I have not received payment on your contracted due date, I will remind you that they are due please see fees policy.
Cancellation Period
Prior to signing up your child for care, we will require you to sign a contract agreement. The term of the contract will be fixed as per the agreement and any cancellation prior to the end date will need to be paid in full. In order to cancel the contract, a 30 day notice period in writing will be required. Failure to meet the requirements of the contract could result in legal proceedings against you to recover any losses or outstanding balance.
Holiday Cover
I regularly see two local childminders who will be happy to cover my holidays (space permitting) when your child has been with me for six months or more and is completely comfortable with the other childminders and their houses, this is not a provision for morning or after school care.
